All our young 21/5 years old stallions are in at this moment, ready to go to the first part of the stallion approval in Zwolle.
As it looks at this moment we will take 4 off these stallions to Zwolle, and ready to sell the other once. In these younger horses we see very big en good movers, broken in and ready to go in the team sport.

The hackney stallion P. Liberator is approved by the KWPN, and received a good breeding rapport. His foals are for 90 % black and are very nice movers.

Dear Harness horse Breeders and Owners all over the world. It took me some time to writhe a little news for you. But there is a lot to tell. First we want you to know that Manno became Ere class Champion again this august 2006. For this hole summer season Manno is not been beaten. He had to beat the best horses in Holland, those ho are able to participate in the highest class. Only his son Sunlight was a serious danger for Manno in the final, but Manno (V.Fabricius pref.) showed himself outstanding and beautiful in his movement. For Manno, this is the first breeding stallion that had this championship for the 3rd time. Not one breeding stallion has ever done what Manno is able to.
They all are in the team driving, 4 in hand. So it also gives you the information that the Dutch Harness breeding a very interesting breeding contains. Cross breeding all over the world with all kind off horses is done on this moment. The first breeders will notice that the characters and the movement will stay, that’s what’s the most beautiful on our Harness horse.
An other son off Manno named by Talos is also sold as pair horse to Mieke van Tergouw. A Dutch two in Talos was a approved stallion at our stable but is sold as a gelding to the new owners. Talos was born in the stable of P.Lelieveld te Leidschedam. We bought him as a 3 days old foal and went to the hole approval system. For the European breeders we have more than enough frozen semen from outstanding quality.
Our hackney stallion Plain’s Liberator has to show on the 25 august his first crossbreeds with the harness horses to the judges from the KWPN. We had to look at the foals last week around Holland, and were very pleased with the way his children look. Plain’s Liberator is a hackney horse with a very good pedigree, without the heavier hackney horses from the early days. We can see that easy bag in the way he breeds his foals because they are nice in the heads, necks and nice long legs. The movement off the foals is very strong en the hind legs are powerful. We will let you know or the KWPN will approve the stallion.
Also we want to wish you all very good luck on your shows that are coming up in the USA. We hope that all of your crossbreeds are doing fine, and special for the younger Manno’s en Fabricius children. For more information the Dutch KWPN will be on one ore two shows their, and you can always ask them everything about our stallions ore stable.
In November we get our 16 2 year old stallions in the stable, and select them for the Dutch breeding process. Every year we only need 2 or 3 stallions to bring, but the rest off the horses will be sold. They are all horses from the best breeding mares and stallions, ready to be sold as a stallion or as a FEI 2 or 4 in hand driving. Also a lot of horses are already sold for single driving. Our products are sold all over the world already, and every year we see our customers bag, so if you are thinking about buying a harness horse, you are very welcome.
New in our stable is the jumping horse. Through our 3 riding children we bought some very good and fine jumping horses. Non of the horses is standing at any internet page, while we take the time to teach them in the course, and we enjoy the jumping of the children. All the horses are X-rayed and healthy, and out off the best jumping lines in Holland. They are for sale but only for those people ho are very interested.
Frozen Semen of Manno is still available for Europe and the USA, we are able to send it to you with Copex air delivered at your door. For results off getting the mares in foal you can inform at Pegasus stables from Dean Wickel.

For this coming year we are able to send you frozen semen of Manno. You can order semen for € 400,- a doses .( a doses contains about 4 or 8 straws )a dose is made to get one mare in foal. You pay the dose of the semen and if you are able to get more mares in foal, we are very happy and proud but it won’t coast you more than the doses you bought.
The semen is collected in the University off Utrecht and the is from a very high quality.

Fabricius Preferent is the leading Stallion in breeding.
Trough his children in Stallions and Mares, he build up his own line in the Netherlands.
In the number of sport horses that he has brought his breeding value will never leave Holland.

Fabricius is in age still to young to be preferent but for 2004 this will be happening.
Fabricius is in the USA and bought by Tracy Burr. He is brought in to the USA to improve the show horse their.

Manno the Multi Champion of the Netherlands.
At this moment Manno has all the Championships their are in hand. In his breeding the genetic ability is already shown.
Many of his children are already making good progress in the sport and the Shows in hand for mares.
In 2002 Manno brought for the second year the champion of the foals, the Champion of the 3 year old mares, and in a class for young to start harness horses number one, two and the fourth place where children of Manno.
Manno’s character is sublime, and it’s a hard worker. He is always happy and good behaved. He also gives that through to his children.
For this year two young Manno sons are aloud to go to the 50 day’s test, to become approved stallions. We keep you informed of Talos and Tempelier.
Talos and Tempelier have became both approved, but on behave of his offspring the KWPN put Tempelier on the list of holding studs.
Tempelier is bin castrated and sold.
In 2004 an other son of Manno became Champion and approved Unieko.
Also approved sons are Victory, Vulcano, Ulandro and Vaandrager.
In the year 2005 Manno delivered the Champion and reserve champion on the stallion show.

They may been seen as happy foals and filly’s , and look like their father.

Unieko became Champion of the 2- year old Stallions during the National Harness day in Ermelo for the first time in 2003.
On the KWPN stallion show 2004 he became again champion of the Harness horses.
So send to the 50 day test in Ermelo, he closed the training also as the champion.
Unieko is one of the most beautiful harness horses and of course a son of Manno.
For this year he has to show his offspring in September.
He is a elegant mover with a lot of power through his body and using of the legs.

Plain’s Liberator is a full hackney stallion, also approved at the Dutch hackney studbookand the KWPN.
He is bin used for cross breeding on the Dutch Harness mares, and the owners, Fam. v.d. Maat and Johan de Heul have been shown that offspring to the KWPN.
On behave of that offspring collection Plain’s Liberator is at the moment also excepted for the cross breeding with the Dutch Harness mares.
Almost 100 % of the foals are black. A very popular collar here in Holland.
The offspring with the Hackney mares is so successful that for the last two years Plain’s Liberator became Champion one the Nat. Hackney show.
Plain’s Liberator himself is a very good talent in Showing, a natural movement and a great performance.
All of his offspring became champions on the shows in the Hackney but also he delivered the Champion from the National show in 2006 for the KWPN. A beautiful foal dark brown with 4 with socks and a small blease.
We have been a household name in horse breeding and riding school stables for over 30 years in the Netherlands. It all started when ponies were used to travel and harness horses had to work on the land around the farm. The farm existed from a mixed company of fruit growing, dairy cattle and slaughter cattle. During the course of time it has been rebuild into a complex Equestrian Sports Centre, which offers spaces for 170 ponies and harness horses. A lot of our activities are focused on Equestrian sport in the broadest sense of the word. For example tricks on horseback, riding lessons, shows, training- and jumping lessons are given at all levels. We also have a lot of time for the drive sport and of course the launching of the harness horses at show jumping and horse shows. To top that of, we get them ready for inspection and stress that the Selling and buying of horses, ponies and harness horses is within our expertise.
Our portfolio is not limited we are constantly adjusting our boundaries to make sure that our customers are completely satisfied. With this we would like to point out to you, that the breeding of harness horses is not done on a small scale within our company, but is done in a professional manner. During our breeding season we take care of the insemination of our horses ourselves, so that we don’t lose contact with our breeders and the results.
Outside of the breeders who order the sperm with their own favourite stallion keepers, we know exactly where the results of all our products are. So this in connection with getting the horses ready for inspection, possible mediation in selling makes it an ideal situation entirely. For the breeders it is a bit of integrity and trust. Also the supervision of the fertility of the mare, and the condition that she is in makes it a certainty that our mare that are in foal percentage is extremely high.
Manno as well as Fabricius are optimal impregnators. This is to the advantage of the breeders, because every owner of a mare would like a foal. Outside of a great number of sports ponies and horses, there have been Harness horses for at least 30 years, a part of that is meant for the stock-farm, whereby we service between 5 – 10 mares on a yearly basis.
For the other part around 10 stallion foals will be selected from the best mares, also on a yearly basis, that are bought and then the rearing starts. Every year we make sure that there are a couple of strict selections by ourselves, and in the end around 5 young two-year-old stallions will manage the final.
The final is on National Harness Horse Day, where we match our stallions with other breeders. When our horses are in the front-end, and the critical eye of the master himself is satisfied, the stallions will be made ready for the Big Stallion Inspection during the following months: September, October, November and December. In order to stop disappointments the stallions are examined by way of X-rays. By making sure that this examination takes place in the University, the stallions will not have to X-rayed again.
And that after all that work and effort, and with a bit of luck one or two stallions can get a commendation from the jury of the KWPN. The stallions are tackled up at the Zilfia's Hoeve and put in front of the show wagon, this way we can determine their talent as a harness horse ourselves already. They’re being kept in condition by launching work and the training mill, so that they are being delivered to Ermelo in good condition and health, this is where the horses will be tested for 50 days. Whenever our stallions go in for the 50 days test, someone of the Zilfia's Hoeve will go and check on them on a weekly basis, to see how they are doing, this way we can prevent disappointments when the horse does not make the exam at the end of those days.
Only after the stallion has passed the test is it time to celebrate, because as you have read it is a long path. Stallions like Proloog, Zakerno, Rex, Hovenier, Handro, Cinovo, Fabricius and of course Manno have gone through the same procedures and have passed. Our breeding products are in England as well as in Germany and since a little time ago also in America. They are generally pedigree horses with a pleasant nature.
In our own stock-farm we have managed to go with the modernising of the harness horses in the current flow of things, so that we can be the first in during inspections and games. Proof of that is that we have sold all of our stallions after the first day of inspection, these buyers are people that have bought from our selection over many years, and have been satisfied with our horses time and time again.
